OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS are housed in an undisclosed, private shelter where they enjoy each other's company in a clean, bright, and nurturing environment. The shelter was established as a result of an extreme hoarding situation in which these cats lived in squalid conditions. Through the collaborative efforts of many dedicated volunteers, the safe house became licensed as a private shelter by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services on September 13, 2017.


The safe house is open to the public from 1-5 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting a cat, please call 910-455-9682 to speak with a highly trained staff member. To best serve our cats' needs, you will be asked if you meet the adoption requirements listed on the General Info page before an invitation to the safe house is extended. Serious inquiries only.
