Slugger

Birthdate: 2010

This precious little guy is named Slugger. He is a one- to two-year old neutered male, Dachshund mix looking for a new home. Slugger has had all of his vaccines and started his monthly flea prevention. He has tested positive for heartworms and is currently undergoing treatment. Slugger loves to play with other dogs, doesn't mind inside cats, and the thrill of his life is hanging out with children (Slugger has figured out already that children usually give cute little dogs treats). His foster mom says he's a wonderful house companion and is completely house trained. He does need a home with a fence so he can dash and zip around the yard to burn off energy.
