Opie

Dear CAPS,

We adopted Opie as a young kitten just before Christmas, 2005. He had been found under a pile of debris following Hurricane Ophelia, thus his name. We had another kitten, Stimpy, who was a CAPS adoption following a hurricane about 9 years ago. Stimpy died suddenly in Nov. 1995, leaving a great void in our hearts and home. Opie was a special Christmas gift who filled our home with kitten activity once again. He is a great clown, keeping us constantly entertained and is very loving, gentle, and affectionate. We had put out an SOS to CAPS for a tuxedo kitten, and they brought us Opie!
