Little Miss Abby has had a long and tedious life. She started out as a breeder dog in a puppy mill. Her ear was tattooed and she had a very sad and lonely existence. After about four years, Abby was sold to a woman who cared for her for a year. Then an unexpected medical problem forced Abby's owner to bring her to a high-kill shelter. Now Abby is in a foster home, looking for a loving and permanent place to hang her leash. She is a very mellow girl and most definitely a lap dog. Abby gets along well with other small dogs and cats. She would do best in a home without small children and perhaps someone who can be home with her.
